We are a fully devoted fellowship that focuses on discipleship and complete surrender to Christ. Faith Alive will guide each person into a significant life of faith, purpose & vision. Ultimately, sharing the gospel with a lost and dying world.

What We Believe

God

We value God as the creator of all life, through the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He provides the means of salvation through Jesus Christ, and empowers us to do His work through the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

2 Corinthians 5:17-18 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.

Prayer

We value that prayer glorifies God and accomplishes the impossible. Prayer is the expression of an intimate relationship with God, and an act of humility in which we seek God, and His will.

Ephesians 3: 14-21 For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge--that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Integrity

We value the integrity of God’s word and adhere to biblical principles and character. We commit ourselves fully to the truth, which honors God, and inspires others.

Philippians 1: 9-11 And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ--to the glory and praise of God.

Worship

We value that true worship is a passionate experience. When coming from a sincere heart, it honors God, elevates Jesus and touches lives.

John 4: 23-24 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."

Relationship

We value a sincere relationship with God and His people. We believe that we should minister to the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of the children, family, individual and community.

Colossians 3: 12-14 Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

Discipleship

We value discipleship as a life long commitment requiring the use of our talents & resources to glorify God. This involves education, training, and stewardship as the model for Christian life.

Matthew 28:18-20 Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Evangelism

We value every Christian as salt and light, and we believe that each of us should be an effective witness as living examples of Christ’s love, forgiveness, and reconciliation.

John 3:16-17 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Leadership

We value that, other than God, leadership will determine the effectiveness of our ministries; therefore, we are committed to equip, motivate, support, mentor, grow and serve with the spirit of excellence doing all as unto the Lord.

1 Peter 5:2-4 Be shepherds of God's flock that is under your care, serving as overseers--not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.
