"Unplanned"

I was thinking the other day about our third child - Taylor. On our part she was unplanned…

It's that "on our part" thing that really got me...Though we weren’t planning on having any more children than our two (Kyndall & Ashton) - God wasn't done sending them to us...

My thought - though she was unplanned & we had taken some measures to prevent pregnancy - God found a way to get around all that...

My point - God must have quite a plan for Taylor’s life...That He would actually have to work around our preventions to get her here. Though we already know how much of a blessing she is in our life & home - she must be even more special than we realize…

So...I'm sure there are others walking this earth - that they too were – unplanned… Yet, God - the author of ALL life - decided they needed to be here...How special those surprises must be in His sight...

So, in our eyes - though there may be "unplanned life" walking around - in God’s Eyes - there is no such thing...Perhaps, some of the unplanned - come with greater plans & purpose than the planned...

I'm excited to see why Taylor is on this earth – for God must have something very special for her to accomplish...

PB,

I am one of these children. My mother had four children in six years. She then decided she was done and had her tubes tied. Five years later I came along, much to my parents surprise. I was well loved, but always teased that I was the unwanted child.

Today, at 51, I am still trying to figure out why I am here and God beat all the odds and I was born.

I'm sure there are many people out there that are "one of those". It's not typcically a topic that is easily discussed...
As for trying to figure it out - Good news...God knows & he's willing to help you find exactly that...
Blessings...
PB

I was not supposed to be able to have children, at least I had many doctors tell me that I would need fertility drugs to conceive. Imagine my surprise when almost three years ago my husband and I found out I was pregnant. My son is my world, he is a true miracle, I can't wait to see how his life shapes up. Already he has helped me to council other women who share my fertility issues, he is a beacon of hope for them and proof that God doesn't listen to doctors.

Jon was my surprise gift. I wasn't supposed to have anymore. GOD had other plans. When I saw him preach for the first time, I heard God say "This is why he is here" and when I saw the alter call and my son leading other teens to the Lord, I knew that Jon's hebrew name "Jonathan",meaning gift from GOD, was truly the right name for him. I am a blessed woman.
