Food Pantry

Ministry Purpose

The Food Pantry at Faith Alive Ministries demonstrates Christian love in a basic and practical way. Like those that Jesus fed long ago, each of us, in some way and at some point in our lives, have received that kind of love and care that Jesus provided. We want our ministry to be a reflection of the love we have for our community and to be an encouragement to clients we serve to grow closer to God.

Ministry Description

We provide basic foods to those in need of assistance. Packaged and frozen foods are always available as well as a few non-edible items. Fresh foods are offered when available.

One or more members of our church leadership team will be available during pantry hours to help guide clients to other resources available to them through Faith Alive or other sources in the community.

Requirements

Must be a resident of Chesapeake; have a valid picture ID; and other proof of address (that matches the address on the ID).
